NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 7: First promo video with Gwen Stefani, Pharrell

The latest -There are many things to discuss when it comes to the first promo for “The Voice” season 7, but we figure it best to start with what may actually make the most people happy as a whole: The fact that Adam Levine no longer has that blonde hair that he was sporting for a while at the end of season 6. He is back to black, but there are still plenty of other changes to the show.

The fact that this new promo features “Hollaback Girl” just shows you how much they want to promote Gwen Stefani as one of the coaches this season, and we’re very interested to find out how she is going to do in this role. She hasn’t been too much in the spotlight lately, and that may work against her; however, at the same time No Doubt is one of the biggest bands of the past several decades, and she may have many old fans who come back and check her out on the show.

As for Pharrell, he’s one of those guys who has been around the industry forever, but really did not start to rise into prominence for many until this past year. When it comes to being a pure coach, he is probably who we would want to pick as an artist. He’s worked with so many people, and is an excellent producer to go along with a singer and performer. He can be the person you go to after the fact to work on an album with, and not just lean on for a little bit of advice here and there.
