‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 spoilers: Now with more firemen

Given the sort of show that “Hart of Dixie” is, the biggest surprise that we have to report about here now is mostly that there has not been a story about volunteer firefighters already.

According to a new report from E! News, though, this is something that you are going to see in grand fashion moving forward. The show is going to be introducing you to Jaysene, who happens to be the head of the department and is desperate to get these volunteer firefighters into good shape. We don’t imagine this to be anywhere near like “Chicago Fire,” though. Instead, it will probably be something closer to “Enlisted” in between the ragtag group that he oversees and some of the comedy that will ensue in the end.

In some way, we imagine that the show is going to find a way to tie the main characters into this. Maybe someone like George or Wade decides to take up a new activity, or maybe they are friends with a firefighter or need one for some occasion. Regardless, we have a feeling that this is going to be fun.

There is no word yet on when “Hart of Dixie” season 4 is going to premiere, but that is something pretty expected, given that it is not a part of the fall schedule, even though it will be filming pretty soon thanks in part to Rachel Bilson’s pregnancy.
