NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 7: Adam Levine on Gwen Stefani, new song ‘Maps’
Adam Levine certainly had a busy morning, and it is all courtesy of his new chat with Ryan Seacrest.
For one, the Maroon 5 frontman was there to talk about his band’s new single “Maps,” which is about everything from possibly a breakup to also “not giving up on someone.” The song is now up on iTunes, and is already starting to make some waves across the internet. The last album “Overexposed” was a big one for a band, in between such songs as “Payphone,” “Love Somebody,” “Daylight,” and “One More Night.”
Also, there was some conversation mixed in here about the new season on “The Voice,” which is going to be premiering on NBC this September. He will be back, and he also discussed a little bit about the arrival of Gwen Stefani as the new coach. She is confirmed now to join Adam, Blake Shelton, and another new coach in Pharrell Williams who has also had some significant experience working with her. This lineup could make for an extremely fun season, but it’s all going to come down to two simple things: The chemistry that the group has with one another, and the quality of the talent. Last season was great because you had a great winner in Josh Kaufman, and also a surprise runner-up in Jake Worthington and a favorite in Christina Grimmie who came in third place, and may still end up being the most-successful member of the show’s cast.
We will have so much more news when it comes to the show soon, so be sure to be on the lookout for this in the near future.
