‘Glee’ season 6: Mark Salling joins Michael Sheen, Olly Murs, Stephen Moyer at Soccer Aid
We posted recently about what many “Glee” stars are doing during their summer vacation, and Mark Salling has decided in particular to contribute to an important cause: Soccer Aid. This is a huge event in Great Britain every year that raises a large amount of money for charity, and also features the English Team (which consists of legends and celebrities) competing against the rest of the world.
Salling was on the “rest of the world team,” which consisted of such other celebrities as celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay (who was a very good soccer player prior to embarking on his successful career), “Masters of Sex” star Michael Sheen), and actors Sam Worthington, Jeremy Renner, and James McAvoy. These are all some pretty great people to know not just personally, but also professionally given that Salling may be looking for some future career opportunities.
As for the group from England, it certainly had its own group of stars including singer Olly Murs and “True Blood” actor Stephen Moyer.
While Mark’s status on season 6 of “Glee” has not been confirmed yet, we certainly imagine that he will get an invite to come back in some form. Show creator Ryan Murphy has already promised that all of the original cast members will be invited back, and we saw Mark make a handful of notable appearances during his past go-around on the show. The photo above in particular was from the 100th episode event, where he was able to help Quinn (Dianna Agron) cope after the death of Finn (Cory Monteith).

Well 555erin I agree that the ratings have dropped and the story lines aren’t nearly as good but the good news is that this is the final season.
