‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 finale review: Did Zoe tell Wade how she feels?
“Hart of Dixie” season 3 came to a close on Friday night, and it was stuffed full of “aww” moments. It was funny, sweet, meaningful, and basically most of what you would want from the show in a nutshell … with an emphasis on “most.”
The good news that we can share now is that Zoe’s feelings for Wade are now out in the open … and he also didn’t leave to Atlanta. After learning that he would be turned into a corporate guy running Rammer Jammers instead of doing the sort of fun stuff that he likes to do with them, he went in a different direction. Unfortunately, it wasn’t right back into Zoe’s arms.
The obvious cliffhanger here is whether or not he is going to eventually admit to loving her back, which we assume will happen on the show eventually. This is all just an exercise in patience!
There were also many other revelations in this finale, from broken relationships (AnnaBeth’s) to confessions to both Lavon and George realizing that they are each in love with Lemon all over again. That part of this is going to be fun. It was also nice to see cameos of Joel and Vivian back after their stories played a big role this year for the sake of closure. We actually really like the Joel character; we just didn’t want her with Zoe forever, and we feel like he still has value as a friend in the future.
We really enjoyed this episode, mostly because we feel like the story is going in a satisfying direction. So long as that is there, it’s easy to laugh, smile, and enjoy the ride. Grade: A-.

It was about time. It is her turn to chase him. Of course, they belong together. I only hope that the creators and writers don’t wait for the LAST episode of S4, which will probably be the series finale, for him to admit he loves her, too. Give us a little of them together. I do wish there had been a kiss but they can give that to me, and more, in season 4. Yeah for Wade and Zoe. I love his growth at the end of S2 and this season. Zoe has grown too and yes, NOW they are ready to be together and realize they belong together.
