ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 finale spoilers: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and a wedding twist
After the emotional episode of “Castle” entitled “Veritas” on Monday night, there is only one other place that the show needs to go this year before wrapping things up: To a wedding! Unfortunately, there is a problem coming up that you probably didn’t see coming.
Much like an episode of “The Big Bang Theory” earlier this season when it comes to Penny, the finale will feature Kate Beckett learning that somehow, she is already married to someone from the past. Who is this man? It’s not confirmed, but given the way the scoop has been presented, it is probably the character played by Eddie McClintock.
If you want to get some more on what to expect, just take a look at the official synopsis below:
“Castle and Beckett’s long-awaited wedding is almost here, but when a shocking surprise threatens to ruin the big day, they are sent on a wild mission filled with masked men, angry bikers and a charming ne’er-do-well from Beckett’s past (guest star Eddie McClintock, “Warehouse 13″).”
After what we saw tonight, we are pleased that the show seems to be going in such a lighthearted direction (at least supposedly) with this last episode. It doesn’t feel on the surface like something that is going to have a massive cliffhanger ending or something devastating. Maybe we’re wrong when we say that, but at least the plan seems to be to tell a much more lighthearted tale this time around compared to last year’s stunner that led to the engagement.
One other interesting note? “Castle” has not been renewed yet, though we are confident it will be.

More than a little disappointed to hear that this gimmick is being used to disrupt the Beckett-Castle Nuptials. Perhaps the episode will surprise me – since I am trying to stay as Spoiler Free as possible – but I am not sure of that. The fandom could have been given a lovely, gimmick free, wedding after following the series for six years. Nathan has said in TV Guide there is a cliffhanger, not sure that bodes well on an emotional viewing level. We’ll see soon enough. As an aside, does it seem as though there are less scenes between Beckett & Castle in the second half of the season? Certainly seems like it to me.

I would really like if there is a scene in which Castle does something great, I mean, it’s like the smart-handsome Rickish days are over long time ago.

if they ever have Rick and Beckett break up I will stop watching. Just love all these characters…..and I love even more since they are together. I also love all the supporting characters and would love to see more of them next season
