‘Supernatural’ season 9, episode 19 preview: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and a returning favorite

“Supernatural” Tuesday night was a thrill to many, and to others … well, it was just a blank screen. Hopefully some of you Canadian readers in parts of Ontario get a chance to check out “Meta Fiction” soon after a blackout temporarily shut down the broadcast.

For now, though, we are going to be moving forward to what happens on the CW series next week, which includes an appearance from a very familiar face in Kim Rhodes’ Sheriff Mills. This doesn’t look in theory like it is going to be the same sort of story that brings in the angels or any of the madness that we saw on the show tonight. Instead, it looks to be much more of a story about vampires, a rescue mission, and Mills’ attempts to further be a hero with the help of your friendly neighborhood Winchester brothers.

“Sheriff Mills (guest star Kim Rhodes) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) after she kills a vampire who attacked a prisoner named Annie (guest star Katherine Ramdeen). They discover Annie was kidnapped by a family of vampires who use her as bait to lure in humans they can then feed on. Sheriff Mills tries to rescue Annie from her captors, but finds out the hard way that family always comes first.”
