‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 spoilers: Danai Gurira on Michonne’s present situation

Michonne -For the cast of “The Walking Dead,” right now is the calm before the storm. Production is getting set to rev up in Atlanta for the show’s fifth season, and that means many things: Long, hot days, possible fake dismemberment, but also getting to see some old friends. They’ll have plenty of time to bond, as well, while all sitting in that train car A and hoping that there is some sort of refuge coming soon.

So given the fact that production has not even started yet on the new season, it’s of course not that easy for the cast to share much in the way of details. However, Danai Gurira did tell “Access Hollywood” in a new interview

“You should be concerned. It’s a dire circumstance, definitely … These people are not very nice. We’re not checked into the Four Seasons in there, so yeah, it’s a pretty scary thing.”

The only real hope that Michonne can have right now is that somehow, the other survivors out there all find a way to Terminus, outsmart Gareth and the crew running it, and then release them to be free again. It doesn’t seem too likely that there will be dissension in those ranks, just as it also doesn’t feel like we are going to see anyone get free of that train car when there are people with guns firing away at them. (Maybe they’ll run out of ammo at some point? That seems to be one of the only real opportunities that they have.)

“The Walking Dead” will most likely return in October to AMC, but we’ll continue to as always provide scoop up until then. Be sure to share some of what you want to see on the show moving forward below, and click here to get further news and updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
