ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ episode 6 preview: Can Tom and Bellamy reassure Arcadia?

Sunday night’s “Resurrection” packed quite a punch, and certainly started to create even more paranoia when it comes to the residents of Arcadia, Missouri. How would you react if there were suddenly people wandering around your town who were once dead? That’s why we cannot entirely blame too much people for their anxiety. (Some of their outbursts and general creepiness, however, are an entirely different story.)

The next new episode of the series is entitled “Home,” and without further ado, let’s go ahead and share just what you can expect from it when it airs:

“Maggie turns to a man from her past, Dr. Eric Ward (guest star James Tupper), now working for the NIH, for answers to Arcadia’s mystery. She insists Ward is there as a friend, but Bellamy is suspicious of any outsiders. Rachael’s (guest star Kathleen Munroe) secret falls into the wrong hands. In the wake of recent events, Pastor Tom and Bellamy try to reassure Arcadians they have nothing to fear from the returned, but some residents have other ideas.”

In the end, this sounds like more of the same in returning residents, more secrets, and also varying reactions to these new arrivals. But when are the action answers coming? Given that this show was at least at one point designed to be a miniseries, they have to provide some sort of resolution this year … even if they end up playing the ol’ “it’s really a series that we are promoting as a miniseries” game that we have seen a few times in the past.
