‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7, episode 20 preview: Sheldon’s ‘big’ makeover

Who is ready for the new-look Sheldon? Regardless of how you may choose to answer that question, you’re going to get him, anyway, courtesy of the new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” that is airing Thursday night. It’s almost like our makeover episode of “Beauty and the Geek,” save with even more arrogance and pandemonium.

Here, Sheldon seems to think that he’s looking awfully good after spending some time getting his hair touched up Penny, and it’s pretty funny for a few seconds. First of all, it’s the first time that we’ve actually seen Jim Parsons with volume! Also, whether or not he really looks better is up for debate; some people dig the sleek, scientific look that he traditionally sports.

One person who is immediately nervous? Amy, who enters the room at the end of the “makeover” and claims that she doesn’t any women seeing Sheldon wandering around and thinking to themselves that he is (in her words) “sex on a stick.” In other words, this is Amy’s perception yet again versus the perception of everyone else.

This video does look like we are building to a fun episode, and we mostly hope that there is more shown soon of Penny’s acting career and the gorilla movie that we saw in this past episode. It’s been nice to see her doing something that is different than just working at the Cheesecake Factory, even if it is doing something for a movie that she is not exactly thrilled about right now. So far, her big gigs include a play, this new movie, the old gorilla movie, and also the “NCIS” episode that cut her out before things actually went live.
