‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 video: Peter Dinklage joins Jon Stewart for fun interview

Peter Dinklage may be a quiet guy, but the actor is getting some of the best promo out there for “Game of Thrones.” He has already appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” and on Monday he stopped by “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” for what we feel was an interview that we found to be even more interesting and entertaining. It likely helped that Peter has appeared on the program before, and he and Jon already had a rapport.

When it comes to specific storylines, there was of course not too much at all that Dinklage could discuss with Jon. However, the two talked about the how’s and why’s as to why Peter couldn’t say very much, and this turned out to be a pretty fun conversation in its own right when you got to hearing about how there is a giant man in Croatia on a mission to destroy phones anytime someone brings them to set. Despite being based on source material that is already all over the internet, HBO is extremely protective.

Dinklage and Jon also bring up something that is another high-profile topic of conversation that cannot be talked about yet: “Days of Future Past,” the latest installment in the “X-Men” movie franchise. Peter plays a part that is very key to the production of the Sentinels, and it’s much of the same situation to “Game of Thrones” in that there is already a giant spoiler out there courtesy of the source material.
