‘The Walking Dead’ season 5: What we know; where we’ll see Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan next

More news -Now that “The Walking Dead” season 4 is over, where in the world does the show go from here? That is something that we are still trying to figure out in the wake of the bizarre season 4 finale “A.”

Let us start off here with what we know for sure: The new season will likely start yet again with that train car marked A, and how the characters evolve and figure out how to survive at Terminus. As expected, we knew that this was not the place it was advertised … but we didn’t think that it would be like this at all.

What we know when it comes to season 5 now is that it will be later this spring when the show starts filming again, and it will premiere again in October. While there is a spin-off series coming, we don’t really see any indication at all that it is going to alter production of the flagship.

It also appears that the vast majority of series regulars are going to return, since we had a finale where nobody died at all that was of significance to the story. Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, and the rest of the gang will keep shooting episodes, but we do feel like the fact that so many were spared at the end of this season probably means that the bell is going to toll for someone pretty soon into the next go-around.

As for casting, we expect there to be some names, familiar to the comic series and some not, that will surface in the weeks and months ahead.
