‘The Voice’ UK results: Did Sally Barker, Christina Marie, Jermain Jackman make finale?

Big news -The last cut is the deepest when it comes to “The Voice” UK. You have come to know the field of contestants very well over the course of the entire season, so it is of course very painful and difficult to have to say goodbye to four out of the eight of them at this stage.

Unfortunately, this is precisely what this massive show on Saturday was for. We don’t necessarily agree with the results of the voting public on all of these, but we cannot say that we’re shocked, given that we have not agreed with Tyler James and Leah McFall coming in any position other than first the past two years. Since every coach gets an artist into the finale on this show, we’re going to go through these by team.

Team Tom – Sally Barker. This soft-spoken, heartfelt woman has become a runaway favorite this season, and the reason why is because she really is a great story without trying to be. She makes you care about what she is performer, regardless of whatever the song is.

Team Ricky – Christina Marie. This one surprised us somewhat, given that we thought that Chris was a far superior performer of the two. Christina just feels like she is shouting at times more so than singing.

Team Kylie – Jamie Johnson. No surprise here. Lee was a very nice guy, but Jamie had a superior performance and really could be the runaway favorite to win this whole thing in the end. All of this course depends, though, on whether or not he brings it in the end.

Team will.i.am – Jermain Jackman. We really liked Sophie and would have liked to see her advance, but we can get behind this. We don’t quite think that Jermain had his best performance tonight, but he does have a great overall body of work. Results Grade: B-.
