‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Does Darren Criss predict Kurt – Blaine wedding soon?

Could one of “Glee’s” most-popular couples tie the knot at some point this season? This is something that Klaine shippers have wanted to know virtually from the moment that Blaine proposed earlier this season, but if you are listening to what Darren Criss is saying now, it could still be a while before there is a wedding ceremony to be had.

Speaking as a part of a new interview with TV Guide, Darren Criss explains some of his thoughts on the subject of a wedding; while he is not necessarily against it eventually, he does caution that those of you hoping for something soon will probably be disappointed:

“I think that we don’t want to jump right into it. New York is going to be a big-enough adjustment. I hope they play it out for a while.”

Do we feel like this is something that could be explored in the show’s sixth and final season? Definitely, since we know already that Ryan Murphy and the rest of the “Glee” writers would like to make sure there is some sort of happy ending here … and a wedding signifies happiness. Before that time, though, the two have issues to work through, including that cheek-kiss that we saw with Kurt and Starchild at the end of the “Frenemies” episode. Are we particularly afraid that there is something there that will cause a long-term problem for the two? Hardly, but it will at least merit some sort of explanation and discussion moving forward.
