ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Tiny hint at new story for Stana Katic’s Beckett

Now is not a time where there is a ton of “Castle” scoop out there. Thanks in part to “Dressed to Kill” being delayed until next week, most of the news out there about it (save for some sneak peeks that are coming soon) has already been said.

However, we can at least tell you with satisfaction right now that there are some more satisfying stories related to Stana Katic’s character coming up … including one that could give you so much more insight into why she is the way that she is. TV Guide says to expect an episode that digs very deep into her “mythology,” which to us of course means where she came from, whether that be or upbringing or her late mother.

Obviously, we know that the big story that everyone wants to be is one that involves the return of Jack Coleman as Senator Bracken, and that is also something that the show’s writers plan on addressing at some point. The main issue to tackle there is making sure that you have the right story for him, and something that will either tie together or continue his story the right way. It’s okay to be patient, so long as you are working to ensure that you get the story right in just about every way.

Are there some other interesting possibilities out there? Sure, since we’d love to see more of where Beckett went to school, or the sort of people that she spent time with in the years before Richard Castle turned up on the scene. That is the joy of having characters with rich, robust histories that are not frequently revealed: It leaves there with plenty to be explored, depending on when you really want to start diving into it.
