‘Nikita’ season 4, episode 5 preview: The last one before series finale (video)

Are Nikita and Amanda going to end their run in a blaze of glory? There are probably a number of questions piling up right now about the final season of “Nikita,” and this is one of them. Now, the scary thought: There are only going to be two episodes left in order for the show to try and tell its story.

Within these final stories, expect there to be more of a struggle for Nikita to try and figure out how to allow her battle to come to a close, some more “Mikita” moments, some opportunities for Alex to shine, and a lot more. Everything that happens in here will serve as some sort of buildup to the series finale, which is something that the fans should be very grateful for since this was not a show we felt would ever have one a couple of years ago.

This penultimate episode is entitled “Bubble,” and the synopsis below along with the promo should give you a pretty solid idea of just what to expect:

“Just as Nikita (Maggie Q) is finally starting to see an end to the long war with The Shop, Ryan (Noah Bean) confesses a secret that could unravel it all. Meanwhile, Michael (Shane West) tries to get Nikita to accept their new circumstances as he contemplates what comes next for the two of them. Realizing Sam (Devon Sawa) was planning to steal her diamonds, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) gives him a suitcase of fake diamonds to deliver to her contact in France. Alex is surprised when he upholds his end of the bargain and doesn’t take off with the jewels. However, things get messy when Sam is jumped by the loan shark he owes money to, and Alex must step in to save him.”
