‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: Good news for fans of Belle, Rumpelstiltskin

Once Upon a Time -We know that there are few couples out there in the “Once Upon a Time” world that have gone through more than Belle and Rumpelstiltskin. Not only that, but their fans have to be suffering to a certain extent at this point. It’s been nearly half a season now without the two parties being together, and while seeing Emilie de Ravin’s character pop up in little visions in Neverland was nice, isn’t it time that we see her in the flesh again? We certainly think so.

Luckily, at least the vast majority of season 3 is going to be much more of a treat for fans of the couple. As executive producer Adam Horowitz says to TVLine, “in the second half of the season, they are going to be in the same world for an extended period of time.” Edward Kitsis offered up a little bit more of a mysterious tease: “If you’re a fan of Rumbelle, the second half of the season will further explore their relationship – in whatever state that is.”

Are there still some issues that will need to be worked out here? You have to think so, especially when you consider the sole fact that Rumpelstiltskin decided to leave the love of his life so that he could go to Neverland. While there were good intentions there, it still cannot feel altogether great. Plus, there is constantly that struggle between good and evil that is there for him; he showed recently that he has a kind heart in there (at least enough of one to save Henry), but there are still enough other bad marks on his resume to make you constantly wonder just how much he has really changed.

The word out there is that the show will stay mostly in Storybrooke for the second half of the season, at least in that we’re not going to see all of the main characters pack their bags and head somewhere else again.
