‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Take a look at Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll in holiday episode
If there is an episode of “NCIS” coming up that really should have “emotional” labeled all over it, at least for the character of Vance, it should be the one airing a week from Tuesday entitled “Homesick.” This is going to be an opportunity to see just how he has truly moved on as a man since becoming a widower, and how for the holiday season this year, he may find some common ground in a very unlikely source.
Specifically, that person is none other than his estranged father-in-law, and this will be a story that revolves around the concept of forgiveness. Rocky Carroll’s done fantastic work when given the opportunity to tell these sort of standalone plots, and there’s no reason to believe that anything different will happen here.
On a slightly more positive note, there is another story happening here that will bring much of the lab together; and apparently, they will at least at one point engage in some holiday revelry. We do know that eventually, though, they are going to be engaging in much more serious business, as they have to try and figure out how to take on a very problematic disease. So the base way to put this is that they could have an interruption in their holiday festivities (and giant cups, as Pauley Perrette’s Abby is showing off).
This will be the last episode of “NCIS” for the year, so get ready to expect a number of key events; while there may not be a cliffhanger of any sort, don’t be surprised if the show ends on a tear-jerking note that leaves you anxious for the big return in 2014.
What do you want to see personally unfold on this episode, and are you expecting the same sort of emotion to come out of it that we are?
