‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Adam Lambert, Chris Colfer, and a different kind of ‘dancing’
How often is it that you get some great dance numbers from “Glee” anymore? It happens, but we’ve felt a little bit less this season without Heather Morris around as a series regular. (Given that she is a former “So You Think You Can Dance” contestant, it is hard to argue against the logic there.)
Adam Lambert has managed to already restore some of the fun in the show’s choreography as of late, which you saw during a certain encounter with a chandelier during the “A Katy or a Gaga” episode. He’s the sort of entertainer that you want to see performing, and hearing the news about a scene featuring him and Chris Colfer that requires some choreography hardly comes as a surprise. Chris first confirmed the news that something was in the works in a post on Twitter this week, where he added a surprising twist to what you typically expect from dancing on the show:
“Spent all morning pole dancing with @adamlambert and now I can’t move a muscle… This is my life, these are my choices… #Glee”
Meanwhile, Adam replied with a message of his own:
“@chriscolfer Hahahaha but all done with great style!”
Anyone want to guess what is going on here? It could be a scene that literally involves pole-dancing, or another situation here could be that it is training for something similar on the show. Either way, it sounds like it will be a ton of fun. We should also point out here that this episode is not going to air until at least February, given that this is when the show is returning to television. Oh, did you also know that it is going to start airing on Tuesday nights? That’s one of the ways that Fox is looking to change up what has been a night decimated by low-rated comedies.
What do you want to see Adam and Chris do on the show moving forward? Share your thoughts below! Also, click here if you didn’t see the preview for the Thanksgiving episode “Puppet Master” earlier this week, as it featured some footage of the two of them.

The group songs remind me too much of the cheesy group songs on American Idol that I NEVER looked forward to. Marry the Night was an epic solo by Adam and I’m worried we are going to see a lot more of Elliot Gilbert than Starchild.
Here is the story I want to see. Elliot and group perform a song and get some polite applause. Elliot decides he needs to wake up the crowd so he changes into Starchild and does some OTT solo that gets everyone dancing and going CRAZY. I would also like to see him cover one of his own songs.

I’m happy with anything, as long as Adam Lambert is included. And I mean ANYTHING.. More Adam singing: solo, duet-ing, singing with Kurt’s band, participating in group performances.., Adam dancing… (yes, please!), more NYC scenes…Just… more… All good!!! Maybe not a definitive answer to the question you posed above.. but I think you catch my drift :)) As for the cryptic Adam&Chris ie Elliott &Kurt “pole dancing” tweets: sounds VERY promising…Can hardly wait to see what THAT’s all about! (darn hiatus anyway!)…

@glitzylady …. I agree with you 100 % !!! …. I had never watched Glee prior to Adam’s apperance on the show. He was outstanding, as always !!! … I hope that his performances on Glee allow him to be seen/heard by many people that either, have never heard of him, or have never given him a chance. I know it is unrealistic, but I want everyone to recognize, and appreciate Adam as much as I do !!! … But, if they don’t … well, that’s just more Adam for me and you !!! BTW … I love you sign in name, @glitzylady !!!

Well, I suspect whatever they do it will be interesting! Love seeing Adam in the cast! He brings a new vibe that is exciting, along with his amazing voice and flair for the theatrical!

I think I speak for many I would like to see Adam perform more solos and see duets with Chris, Santana, Demi and Lea. Seems best talent is in the NYC part of the show. Group numbers are good but some voices can’t be heard well so hopefully producers will realize that it’s not smart to hide Demi or Adam’s voices.
