‘The Mindy Project’ season 2 spoilers: What role will ‘Breaking Bad’s’ Anna Gunn play?

For those of you (and we know that there are many out there) who are invested in following the future careers of every major star of “Breaking Bad,” then you may be rather pleased right now with the knowledge that Anna Gunn has another gig coming up in addition to her project on Bravo: A guest spot on Fox’s “The Mindy Project.” This is an opportunity for the actress to prove that, after years upon years of being the super-serious and beaten-down Skyler White, she can also do comedy.

For those of you who want to read some more news about the character she will play, we’ve got a few more details to share about it now! According to a report from E! News, Gunn is going to basically play the sort of doctor that will make Mindy Kaling’s character extremely envious. Basically, she’s a role model of sorts just based on how amazing and zen her own practice is.

Just to make matters even more interesting, there is going to be another character joining Gunn on the show in a sidekick of sorts who goes by the name of Zandra, and she apparently has some sort of history working at a cruise line. If there is anything that we take from the information that we have known about this already, it is that this report really has all of the makings of being a pretty phenomenal episode. It is going to be more than entertaining, just from a curiosity standpoint, as well. We are excited to see how she does on the show, and bring something a little bit different in the comedy table.
