‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6, episode 10 spoilers: A Katey Sagal – Ron Perlman meeting
Ron Perlman’s Clay may be the biggest wild card on “Sons of Anarchy” at the moment. Despite being a significant part of the overall story, it is also hard to deny that there have been times during season 6 where Clay felt almost like an afterthought. He was a man sitting behind prison bars, unable for the first time to really be the author of his own fate. Given what we know about Clay, we know that this is not his desired locale.
Meanwhile, Katey Sagal’s Gemma has had her own complicated genre even in some of the episodes in which she was offscreen. The entire situation with Tara has escalated, and now even Jax knows the truth about the plot that Maggie Siff’s character had created to take away the family and transport herself as far away from the situation as possible. Gemma and Clay have a lot to talk about. Clay can tell her stories about biting people, and she can discuss how she is now on a manhunt to protect her family, and her own son may now be finally on her side.
We just know that in the end, this conversation goes better than a particularly notable one from earlier this season, where Gemma was forced to do some pretty devastating things within those walls. This gives you a sense of just what sort of place this prison really is, and also how dangerous it is to be in this environment even as a visitor. Clay is a more desperate man because of it, and one that has developed somewhat of a sympathetic side … with an emphasis on somewhat. What we know is that this is not the way that we feel like one of the show’s most-feared individuals should go out. While we do not necessarily need to see Clay die with dignity, he should at least go in a way that feels true to the character and gets your hair standing on end. (Maybe he will at least get the sort of epic prison death that Otto did earlier this season.)
Do you find yourself getting nostalgic for the early days of this show anytime that Gemma and Clay share time together on “Sons of Anarchy,” and what do you think comes next for the two? Theorize in the comment box below, and click here to see what Kurt Sutter has to say on Jax’s next move.

I am sick of Gemma. Also, if Jax really cared about his family he would let Tara take the boys and leave. He can go be with that whore and run that whore house with Gemma, Nero and the gang. Sad even on TV women viewers find fought in the woman and not the man when he is just as guilty of betrayal.

Can’t wait, “you are sunshine” was a childhood favorite. Jimmy Smith Nero is the sprinkles on my Sundae. Jax the cherry. Sorry TMI.
I hope Tara gets what is coming to her.
