‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7, episode 6 preview: Watch Sheldon’s mind ‘make a baby’
On tomorrow night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” we will get a step closer to watching Sheldon Cooper finally have something that he has been long awaiting: A major revelation in his career. Specifically here, we are talking in terms of him finding a way to synthesize an element. Is this a major breakthrough? Think of it this way: It is a breakthrough so enormous that it could really change the course of science as they know it.
But, Sheldon does not want to celebrate this as a modern scientific miracle. Instead, he wants to celebrate it as though he just won a game of kickball on the practice field. Leonard points out exactly what he has done in the sneak-peek below from the episode, and he wastes no time at all proclaiming just how proud of himself he is. Dear Sheldon, we get it: You fancy yourself a rather awesome human being right now for what you managed to achieve here. But seriously: Is looking like a fool over it really the best course of action?
There is also another good reason to ask this question, and that is for the oh-so-simple reason that he may not have really worked the math as well as he thinks he has. As you can see in another preview video for this episode at this link, Sheldon is going to realize potentially thanks to Amy, that he may have just gotten extremely lucky, and that will be a very funny problem for him to run into. You see, there is nothing that this man enjoys more than never-ending praise, and he is going to be getting quite a bit of it over the next several weeks. Seeing the applause stop could set off some sort of awful chain reaction in his brain that will be too much for him to bear, but we’ll love it, mostly because there is nothing better than a Sheldon Cooper breakdown.
What do you think about this video, and are you stoked to see the end result of Sheldon’s victory dance? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and we will be back tomorrow night for a full review of this episode.
