‘Witches of East End’ spoilers: Who is taking an interest in Ingrid?

The latest -This past weekend, Lifetime’s new series “Witches of East End” got off to what we would say is a solid start. While it was neither a creative nor commercial powerhouse, the show’s numbers were pretty solid given the fact that there are about a trillion things on Sunday nights (including football), and anything even managing to stay afloat has to be labeled at least a moderate success.

So following the premiere, what is going to be coming next for the series? As you get closer to the end of season 1, there is going to be a man in particular turning up who takes some sort of interest in Rachel Boston’s character of Ingrid.

According to TV Guide, Enver Gjokaj, who you probably remember best for that oh-so-promising mess of a show that was “Dollhouse,” has been cast for a multi-episode arc as Mike, who works as a novelist, but has has interest far greater than just a library that Ingrid keeps herself familiar with. Whenever you see the words “mysterious man” used to describe a character on a scripted cable show, one word comes to mind: Trouble. Given that his first appearance comes over the halfway point of the season on November 17, we can really describe this as trouble of the major kind, and also the sort of issue that isn’t going to disappear anytime in the near future.

Let’s just hope that by the time the show arrives to the point in which Gjokaj appears that there is still a sense of relevance around the series. You never know when you’re dealing with something brand-new, and tomorrow’s episode is really going to be that all-important litmus test to figure out whether or not it’s going to be surviving on the air a little while longer.

What do you think about the casting, and are you enjoying what these “Witches of East End” are bringing to the table so far? We of course want to hear all of your thoughts on this story below! Meanwhile, stay tuned; we’re going to have some more scoop related to the series just as soon as it becomes available.
