‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: New shots of Damian Lewis, Claire Danes, more

In just the span of a few hours, there will be a significant reason for fans of scripted drama to celebrate: “Homeland” will be back on television. It’s a top-five series across all networks, and this year, the early indication is that you are going to have a show that you very much love tonight, and not a show that polarized some at the end of season 2. There are fewer leaps in logic, more fantastic drama and character moments that will have you talking with your friends.

But before we get to the launch of the series, why not share a few more character photos now featuring some of your favorite actors? This article features some new promotional shots of Claire Danes, Morena Baccarin, Mandy Patinkin, and of course Damian Lewis (who will be missing in action tonight).

What is particularly interesting in some ways about the Damian photo is that it features something that the actor does not have when he shows back up on the actual show: Hair. It’s going to be a very different look for Brody almost right away, and the reason for that, at least based on our own thinking, is that he obviously does not want to be found out. Having red hair can make you a pretty easy person to spot.

The images are as a whole standard. There’s nothing here that will surprise you, but what you can do is take these as proof that these are the four actors who are going to anchor most of the story this year. However, don’t discount Rupert Friend (Quinn) too much, as he has an interesting tale to tell this year in his own right.
