‘Glee’ season 5 song spoilers: Darren Criss, Chris Colfer duet to ‘Got To Get You Into My Life’

The latest -While there are a number of reasons to be excited for what is coming up with the “Glee” season 5 premiere on Thursday, the one getting the most buzz from most diehard fans right now is the possibility of seeing a Kurt – Blaine proposal.

Is there a problem with this? Definitely, given that there is no guarantee that it is going to happen. What we can say for now is simply that there is a performance coming up to the Beatles’ “Got To Get Your Into My Life” that has a great deal of romantic potential behind it. The photo to the left and the song below suggests that we’re going to have a brass band leading the charge, and that both Chris Colfer and Darren Criss’ characters will be performing at a very familiar setting. As for how they recruited the school band for this, and in uniform, no less (those things are super-sweaty), is one of the questions that we have.

The song itself is one of the better ones that we have heard for the two-part tribute episode, mostly because it seems to accentuate what is the most important thing: Keeping the melody intact, but adding your own spirit. Darren and Chris are well-suited for the song, and there is such a bubbly effervescence about it that you want to hope that there will be some good things following it up when the music stops playing. We refer to this song, at least for now, as a lovely little glimmer of hope for the “Glee” universe.

Want to listen to some other tracks from the “Glee” premiere? Then just take a look at the list below.

1. “A Hard Day’s Night,” performed by Lea Michele and Naya Rivera.

2. “I Saw Her Standing There,” performed by Darren Criss, Chord Overstreed, Jacob Artist, and Blake Jenner.

3. “Yesterday,” performed by Lea Michele.
