‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Will the Halloween special further Ezra’s story?
Even though it’s been two days that have passed since the emotional summer finale for “Pretty Little Liars,” it is still pretty close to impossible to not talk about a story that is still driving fans completely up the wall: The sudden, shocking, but also extremely entertaining revelation that Ezra Fitz may very well be “A,” and be responsible for running this entire show.
But is Ezra really the villain here? It’s been clear for a long time that there is something up with the guy beyond what we have seen of him so far, but we still do not know what it is, or what some of his motivations could be for actually trying to hurt someone in Aria that he supposedly loves and cares for.
One sad part of this story is that if you do want to find out some more information when it comes to getting answers to some of these questions, you’re going to be waiting for a little while. As executive producer Oliver Goldstick tells TVLine, the Halloween special is not going to be something that really clues you in on his motives:
“Because of the nature of the Halloween episode, the mystery of [Ezra] doesn’t move forward that much; it’s a standalone episode… As far as the explosive revelation of last night, it builds on that without giving you explanations. It builds on Ezra’s culpability of being ‘A,’ but it doesn’t explain a lot of questions you’ll have as an audience. You have to wait for 4B for that.”
It is definitely worth noting that no one has really mentioned anywhere that “A” is definitively Ezra, and that we are looking at a story that is more cut-and-dry from here on out. That is simply because it isn’t true. There are many twists and turns to come still, and some of them may very well make you want to throw something at your TV.

I think that Ezra might be trying to protect aria from A and was mad at the end because A is harassing Aria and the liars again and she didn’t tell him.
Or Ezra might be working for A or is A also. The two red coats could be on different sides one could be Cece and she could of taken Emily and put her in the box and the other red coat could be Ali and she stopped the machine and lead them to A’s lair.

I think in 4×17 they will tell the story of Ezra being A. The producers tweeted that in episode 17 will be MUCH Ezra.
