‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6: See Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, and more new cast photos

As we inch closer to the premiere of “Sons of Anarchy” season 6, this becomes the time that like with many other shows, we get the opportunity to see what the network has put out in the way of promotional material. When it comes to Kurt Sutter, we have to say that all parties involved did a pretty fantastic job creating some haunting images. They are dark, they are foreboding, and they really give the us the feeling that serious times are ahead for some of these characters.

Of course, the photo of Charlie Hunnam’s Jax deserves the top billing, given that he is the star of the show. Does anyone else feel almost like he looks almost like he’s in prayer in this image?

We’ve also enclosed some of our other favorite images below, and there are at least a couple of interesting things to point out.

1. The darkest image by far is of Theo Rossi’s Juice, which could be a reflection of the character’s long, complicated journey to becoming the person that he is now.

2. Who exactly is Tara (Maggie Siff) looking at here? It’s a good thing that this photo exists, given the only place we’re likely to see her this season is a prison cell.

3. Jimmy Smits has a photo listed in here as Nero, even though he is technically not a series regular. (He is, however, appearing in just about every episode of the season, so it still feels appropriate.)
