Sugar season 2 episode 7 preview: The last before finale

Next week on Apple TV you are going to see Sugar season 2 episode 7 arrive and of course, it makes sense to be feeling sentimental already. How are we so close to the end of the season already? There are only eight episodes to the Colin Farrell series and while it helps to keep things tight, it doesn’t help any of us who is greedy to get a lot of content and fast.

Based on where things stand right now, here is what we know: Sugar is in big trouble. Vega is breathing down his neck and to make matters worse, he has also gone ahead and had Danny Moon arrested! That means that unless he gives up Ji, something may happen to his brother. He also only has so many people he can trust given that the whole Firesale operation is so much bigger than it first seemed. That is without getting into the ancillary stories happening with Pavich or John’s sister.

In the end, we do remain abundantly curious about Charlotte’s role in all of this, mostly because of one classic TV question: Nothing can ever be that simple, right? We want things to remain complicated and messy and for John, a part of that may mean having to recognize that whatever this romance is, it is not exactly what he once thought. The more twists that we get with a show like this, the better it may be in regards to the end product.
