The Vampire Lestat season 4: Is it renewed, canceled at AMC?

Given that tonight marks the end of The Vampire Lestat season 3 over at AMC, why not take a moment to discuss further the future? This is a show / franchise that has shown itself to be beloved all over the world, and that is without even noting the popularity of the source material.

What we are trying to say here is not altogether complicated: It would be a surprise to end all surprises in the event the show is not back for more. Could it have a different title? Sure, but we would consider it still to be season 4.

Based on many quotes that we’ve heard from both the producers as well as the aforementioned network, there is almost no chance the series gets canceled. If you watched the end of season 3 today, then you know that (spoiler alert) a lot remains unanswered. Take, for starters, how we get to the auction at the start of the season. Also, is all of the city truly destroyed after the concert? Are we going to see Akasha again?

When a possible season 4 could air

If there is one major thing to criticize the series for, it is taking a little too long between seasons. While we know that there are special effects here and you do not want to speed up the creative process too much, our hope here remains that we are going to be getting into the world more when we get around to second half of next year. A lot will depend on when cameras actually start rolling but for now, we’re going to live in the camp of hope springs eternal.

Also, remember that in the meantime, we are likely to get at least one more season of Mayfair Witches — we will have to wait and see what lies ahead beyond that.
