The Chi season 8 episode 10 spoilers: The series finale

Next week marks The Chi season 8 episode 10, and we just hope you are prepared already to feel a little bit emotional. This story is going to mark the series finale, and then also an important event we have all been waiting for: Kiesha and Emmett’s wedding.

Is this ceremony the perfect way to cap off the series? In a lot of ways it feels like it! These are characters who have been a part of the show a long time and in that way, constants. We know that there have been a lot of comings and goings here over the years and with that, it just makes a ton of sense to conclude the story with something that feels significant to the journey. We wouldn’t be surprised if there are callbacks and tear-jerkers aplenty; we really just want the final moments to be happy, especially since characters have endured a lot here.

Our general feeling is that there shouldn’t be a lot more promo heading into the last chapter just because secrets matter and you really should want to feel a wide array of different things. This is a celebration of the fanbase as much as anything. Even though The Chi has not necessarily gotten the most mainstream attention of any premium-cable show out there, it always managed to deliver stories that feel grounded and real. That is a huge challenge and by virtue of that, one we are thrilled to celebrate at this particular point.
