Dutton Ranch season 2 spoilers: More Ed Harris coming?

At the time of this writing there is no official premiere date for Dutton Ranch season 2. However, isn’t it nice to have a few pieces of info?

The first thing that we should note is that when it comes to the cast, you are going to be seeing a number of key players return in an even larger role. That includes Ed Harris, who was around for a lot of season 1 as Everett but at the same time, did not necessarily have a lot of air time. That could be changing, at least according to one of the show’s own stars and executive producers.

In speaking on this subject to TV Insider, here is what Hauser had to say:

“He’s going to become a very important, integral part of Season 2 … And for both Kelly and I, obviously, Annette is phenomenal, but I cannot wait to work more with him. He’s such an amazing American actor that I think was used very sparingly this year. We’re going to make sure that he is a big part of helping us moving forward in whatever capacity.”

Ultimately, some of this feels similar to the part Demi Moore had in Landman season 1 but at the same time, it feels like Harris was around more in this situation already. It does make sense that Everett is going to be around more given his relationship with Beulah, especially given the tumultuous nature of the 10-Petal Ranch at this point. She had just named Rob-Will an heir and now, he is dead. What is she going to do? How are they going to be able to handle this? There are so many exciting things we are left to wonder about.
