Sugar season 2 episode 5 spoilers: Will Vega fight back?

As we do prepare to see Sugar season 2 episode 5 on Apple TV next week, isn’t it crazy that we are already at the halfway point? There are so many things to be excited for across the board, especially now that we know who the real adversary here is in Vega.

What do we know about him right now? That is not that complicated, as it begins with the simple fact that this is someone who wants to do away with his massive Ji Moon problem. We know that at the end of episode 4, Sugar pulled a stunt to try and convince Tony Dalton’s character that Ji was dead. Is he going to believe him? That is where we get into the real cat-and-mouse game at the heart of the story. Both of these men are smart and could think that they have figured the other out. (Obviously, it is rather hard to do that with someone who is actually an alien.)

Vega isn’t convinced his problem with Ji is solved. Sugar befriends someone in Pavich’s inner circle.

One of the things that we are most curious about this season in general is trying to get to the bottom of a rather simple question: How many answers are we going to get on Pavich? Beyond just that, is John going to be able to get answers on his sister? It does not feel like we’ve reached the end of that story at all, even if Henry is gone. We just have to wait and see what the writers are cooking up when it comes to this long-simmering mystery at some point down the road.
