When Calls the Heart season 14 premiere date hopes as filming starts

If you have been eagerly awaiting some small amount of news regarding When Calls the Heart season 14 over at Hallmark Channel, let’s just say we have something today to make you happy.

In a new post on Instagram, star Pascale Hutton herself confirmed that the cameras are now rolling on the latest batch of episodes for the hit drama. We imagine that they will be taking place over the course of the next several months, and the timing of production (roughly the same as in years past) does suggest that we are going to be seeing the series back on the air moving into January. (Of course, that is always subject to change and dependent on what Hallmark wants.)

So is the entire cast present yet? That remains to be seen. Star and executive producer Erin Krakow and husband / co-star Ben Rosenbaum welcomed a baby earlier this spring, so we do wonder if they will film some scenes later on to give them more time. Regardless. We tend to think that both Elizabeth and Mike are going to still have major roles. When Calls the Heart is about community as much as anything, and we are of the belief that this will once again be the focus.

As for when the show will actually show off some footage…

Let’s just say that this is where you may have to wait a while. If we are lucky, we are going to have a chance to see a promo either in late November or December. Because the series has such a loyal audience, we do think there is less pressure for the powers-that-be to throw a lot of time into a campaign. Instead, they can choose to get some footage out there a few weeks until the premiere and they will do more than fine when it comes to garnering attention.
