Now that we are almost a full week into July, is there more news on the horizon regarding a Widow’s Bay season 2 over at Apple TV? Of course, make no mistake that we want it. Getting it, however, is something totally different.

The great news is that the horror-comedy hybrid, which became a runaway hit for the aforementioned streaming service, has already been confirmed to be coming back for more. Are there still a lot of questions out there? Absolutely, with the biggest being just how long it is going to take to make more. Apple is a company that has shown a willingness to take time with a lot of their properties, whether it be a Severance or what is currently happening regarding Pluribus. They do not have to rush anything along here at all.

Our feeling for now is that more than likely, we are not going to be hearing a whole lot regarding the show over the next few months — or maybe even the rest of the year. The best-case scenario here is that we dive back into this fictional town in the fall of next year, but it easily could take until 2028, as well.

As for the main story ahead…

From where we sit, a lot of the story will revolve around Tom reeling from the revelation that his own son Evan is a descendant of Richard Warren, which means that 1) he may never leave the island and 2) a lot of the curse put upon it will still remain. There are a lot of unanswered questions that we have, especially since it seems like the island may need multiple dead bodies still in order to be happy.
