Love Island USA season 8 episode 27 preview: A recoupling & dumping?

We know that Love Island USA season 8 episode 27 is going to arrive on Peacock tomorrow night, and finally, will the villa shrink down?

Well, for the time being, let’s just start off here by noting that there are a couple of major events that will be taking place. First and foremost, you have a recoupling that could get a little messy based on the state of current relationships. Melanie may want to be done with Sincere on one level, but staying with him does ensure continuing to be in the villa. Unfortunately, it is also so late in the season that you are going to have a hard time finding some new connections.

Also, even if you are in a connection, there is a good chance that you could still find your way out the door. It seems like the group will be voting on the least-compatible of the connections and through that, some people could be dumped. Given that Jen & Gal are pretty much done at this point, that means them depending on if they are technically a “couple.” Then, you also have Caleb & Jaiden at the same time, who are clearly not going anywhere.

The last thing that the preview noted is that America is soon going to have their say — however, what does that really mean? It clearly won’t impact tomorrow’s episode, but it could be another measure to start to narrow things down. With the finale closing in now, we do tend to think that some harder decisions are going to need to be made for almost everyone involved. That means of course some of the islanders who are on the season, but also all of us watching at home.
