‘The Bachelor’: Is Emily Maynard ex Jef Holm really in talks?

Not long after we posted our story about Jef Holm being possibly interested in becoming the next star of “The Bachelor,” it looks as though some people associated with the tabloid universe are starting to take this yet another step further.

According to a brand-new report from Life & Style, a source (seemingly one very close to his ex Emily Maynard) claims that she would be thrilled if Jef ends up being chosen, and claims that the man and his famous hair have been discussing the possibility of doing this show for some time:

“Jef has been in talks with ABC about becoming the next Bachelor … He loves fame, so it’s no surprise he’d be open to the opportunity. He also really knows how to turn on the charm!”

We’re not going to sit here and say that Jef hates fame, since after all, he would not have went on “The Bachelorette” in the first place if that was the case. However, he also has not been one of those former contestants that has partied it up at drunken events every weekend, or desperately tried to cling to his celebrity on Twitter. We don’t really get that sort of vibe off of him.

Maybe he is in talks with the show over the gig, but he does have a little competition; as we have said time and time again, the only two serious candidates for this show right now are Jef along with Drew Kenney, who is a current contestant on Desiree Hartsock’s season. We just don’t see anyone else having the following.
