Love Island USA season 8 episode 22 preview: Who will return?

As we look ahead to Love Island USA season 8 episode 22 and beyond, there is absolutely a lot to look forward to … but also be concerned about.

First and foremost, let’s go ahead and remind you that technically episode 23 is going to be Aftersun rather than a new episode of the show itself. There is so much fallout that has to take place from Casa, in particular when it comes to KC choosing Tierra. He not only broke Aniya’s heart, but also angered most of the other women in the villa.

So moving forward, the big discussion has to do with the vote — what will America choose? We all have a chance to bring a dumped boy and girl back to the villa but honestly, one vote is far more exciting than the other.

After all, consider the options for the women, given that the guys are in stable couples. Maybe if Melanie & Sincere are not able to work things out, there is an opportunity here? Otherwise, it is hard to really imagine a situation where Amora or Sydney can stay long-term. The vote for the men is a bit more interesting, but the obvious choice here is Carl just to see if he and Aniya can have some sort of chance to rekindle things. The part that makes it tough is him knowing that she chose KC over him — will he get past that? Or, will he just understand that he only had a few days, and she was clearly banking on a relationship that lasted weeks?
