Chicago Fire season 15 premiere date: What lies ahead at NBC?

We have known for a while that Chicago Fire season 15 was going to be coming to NBC this fall — now, we have an official date to circle on the calendar!

This week, the network confirmed that on Wednesday, October 7, you are going to have a chance to see the firefighter drama back in all of its glory. Do we recognize that this is still a rather long time to wait? Absolutely, and that is the painful part of this. However, simultaneously it is great to already have information given the fact that there are a lot of shows out there that do force you to wait so much longer than this.

Now as for what the story here will eventually be about, let’s just say that this is tied very-much to the cliffhanger that we saw at the end of last season where there were multiple lives hanging in the balance. We certainly understand that these are the stakes that the powers-that-be love to have with this show and there is no real reason to vary from that. Someone could die but even if they do not, there could still be some big changes.

In particular, though, we are perhaps the most intrigued by whatever is going to happen coming up here when it comes to Severide and Stella. After all, at this point it is becoming increasingly clear that they are the mainstays of the story and a good percentage of what you see is going to be geared around them. We really just hope that everything continues to move forward in a way where there is drama, humor, and action — everything that we have come to love here over the years.
