Industry season 5 premiere date: A June 2026 update

Is there a chance that we could hear more about an Industry season 5 between now and the end of June?

Obviously, we recognize that there would be a great demand for what is next on this series, and for a multitude of different reasons. Take, for starters, exactly what we saw at the end of season 4! Harper and Yasmin are in extremely unexpected places, especially compared to where we saw the two of them earlier on in the series. There is a road that the story could go down now that is extremely dark; yet, at the same time, there are always different opportunities to pivot. We tend to think that in general, this is a show that is all about choices and your capacity to change. We know that a general thought put out there here is that once you reach a measure of redemption, your arc on the show ends.

Given that Industry season 5 is going to be the final season, there is a real chance for closure and we believe that everyone behind the scenes is angling for that. We know that through a lot of this month, the primary goal here is going to be preparation. Filming is poised to begin later this summer and through that, we do not believe anything will necessarily be hurried along.

When will the show then return?

Our general feeling is that summer 2027 is the best-case scenario. Because this is not some effects-heavy spectacle, it actually has more in common with The Gilded Age than House of the Dragon, Lanterns, or The Last of Us. Our feeling is that it can be turned around fairly quickly and from there, HBO will decide to ultimately release the end product.
