Mayfair Witches season 3 premiere date: A May 2026 update

Is there a chance that we are going to hear more about Mayfair Witches season 3 between now and the end of May? Let’s just say that at this point, we understand why there would be a lot of questions on the subject.

After all, let’s start first and foremost here with a reminder that filming for the latest chapter of the show with Alexandra Daddario has already wrapped. This season was filmed in Vancouver, and is meant to really explore deeper the origins of Salem and all the witchcraft that has been associated with it over the years. We do tend to think that there is a lot of potential for this to be stronger than the somewhat-polarizing second season, which we tend to think was hurt to some extent by its lack of focus at times.

So with The Vampire Lestat premiering next month, is news about the other Anne Rice – AMC series coming soon? We would love it but at the same time, we also tend to think that patience is still required here. We do not believe the network is going to run these seasons back to back and within that, an October / November premiere would most likely be the best-case scenario here. It is a while to have to be patient, but we’re trying to be optimistic that it will be worthwhile.

We do tend to think in general that Mayfair Witches season 3 is going to be a make-it-or-break-it one for the series. Because the second season was so polarizing on multiple levels, we really think that this one needs to deliver and/or fire on all cylinders if there is a legitimate chance at a season 4 down the road. We are just trying, at least for now, to hope for the best.
