FROM season 4 episode 7 preview: The tunnel plan?

As we brace to see FROM season 4 episode 7 arrive on MGM+, we really think that almost anything can happen.

Do you want some prime evidence of that? Well, look no further than the conclusion of episode 6 this week, where Boyd finally decided to listen to Jade. The two eventually discovered the door leading into the tunnels, which is where presumably they may be able to find the crypt holding the children. On paper, it seems as though parts of Jade’s trip are actually real … but what are they going to uncover on the other side? This is where the mystery still lies.

What we do know is this: Going into the tunnels at this point is an extremely risky move, largely because even if the children are found, that does not guarantee anyone can go home right away. It may just be one part in a much larger plan to get characters from point A to point B. The problem is that in the midst of Jade and Boyd’s frenzy, they may not be thinking about the potential cost. We saw this with the death of Jim: Every step forward may also be a step back. Or, at the very least, it may cost someone their life.

In the end, we tend to think that this FROM installment will at least push us towards some answer, even if it is not necessarily clear what said answer is at present. We are getting near a point where we have to start thinking more and more about a specific endgame, especially in light of the fact that season 5 is going to be the last one. We do not expect every answer to be coming this season, but we may take steps in the right direction.
