The Way Home season 4 episode 7 sneak peek: Elliot’s dilemma

This weekend on Hallmark we are going to be seeing The Way Home season 4 episode 7 play out — so what will the focus be?

In a lot of ways, one of the key issues at the heart of the next hour is one that has been embedded in the show from the beginning. Can your desire for answers in the past be so strong that you miss out on things in the present?

For Elliot, at this point it is abundantly clear why he would want to remain in the past, mostly out of his desire to learn the truth about Tessa. However, in the sneak peek over here, you can see Kat try to convince him to go back to the present with her. There are things that they need to accomplish there. For Kat in particular, she recognizes that she needs to drive Alice off to college! In one way Elliot seems to agree, but there is also a lot of hesitation here.

At this point, what we are trying to say is really not altogether complicated. Just from the vantage point of what we are seeing in this preview, the story is very much not over. Also, just remember where we are in the story right now! There are a few more episodes ahead and while things are going to have to move quickly, we cannot see the show leaving off in such an ambiguous place — especially since Elliot’s family history has been such an enormous part of the story as a whole.
