Cross season 3 premiere date: A May 2026 update

Is there a chance that we are going to hear more about Cross season 3 between now and the end of the month? We may not need to tell you this, but absolutely the desire for more of the crime-drama adaptation is still there. The first two seasons proved to be rather successful and beyond that, work is already being done on season 3!
So does all of this mean that more news is right on the other side of the horizon? That would be lovely but at the same exact time, we do not believe that we are anywhere near that lucky.

After all, consider the following here: Production for this chapter of Cross is not currently slated to wrap up until we get around to the summer. Because of that, it is really hard to imagine that anyone on Prime Video is going to be eager to share more information as of yet. They are going to make us wait a little bit longer to hear anything more about the show and from where things stand at present, we’d be shocked if it were to launch before the spring of next year. It could easily be longer than that.
At the time of the season 3 renewal, here is some of what Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television, Amazon MGM Studios, had to say on the subject:
“From the beginning, Cross has captivated audiences with its layered characters, pulse-pounding suspense, and emotionally grounded storytelling … Aldis has delivered a definitive portrayal of Alex Cross, anchoring the series with depth, intelligence, and heart. We’re thrilled to continue this journey with Ben, our collaborators at Paramount Television Studios, and the rest of the incredible cast to bring even more of James Patterson’s iconic world to our global Prime Video audience.”
If there is any chance that we get some premiere-date news this year, it is likely to be in December; yet, even that right now feels like a pipe dream.
