Fallout season 3 premiere date: A May 2026 update

Is there any chance at all that we could be hearing something more regarding a Fallout season 3 premiere date before the end of the month?
Of course, there is absolutely a good bit of hype surrounding the next chapter of the series here, and for good reason. Just remember for a moment here that the third season is going to give us a chance to see more of Lucy and Maximus together; meanwhile, The Ghoul is going to do whatever he can to try and locate his family. We do tend to think that eventually, we are going to see him head towards Colorado; however, there is certainly no guarantee that this is going to be something that we see in the immediate future.

Speaking of things we will probably not see in the near future, Fallout season 3 has yet to officially start filming — though all signs do suggest that we will be seeing that happen at some point within the relatively near future. The plan is for the show to spend most of the year in production in California, and our personal long-term hope here is simply that this will lead to a launch at some point around the summer of next year. (In other words, do not expect much more when it comes to news this month or some other point shortly after the fact.)
The great news here is that if Fallout returns by mid-2027, it will have been a reasonably short wait between seasons, at least in comparison to some other big-budget streaming shows out there. Because of just how long it takes to render a lot of the visual effects with a series like this, it is a little unrealistic to think that we are going to see a faster turnaround than this.
What are you most hoping to see on Fallout season 3 when the show does eventually arrive on Prime Video?
