Lioness season 3 premiere date: Tied to Dutton Ranch?

We know that we are going to be seeing Lioness season 3 at some point over the coming months — and for good reason! Filming for the latest chapter of the Taylor Sheridan drama has been done for a while now, and we also see little reason for Paramount+ to just shy away from airing it.

Just think about it through this lens: If you are them, you want to get this story out there at a time in which a lot of people will be talking about it. That also means, more than likely, a time you do not have a lot of other hits on the air. This brings us over to the summer, around the spot in much Dutton Ranch is leaving the schedule.

So is the Yellowstone follow-up going to prove useful in figuring out when the other show will premiere? As strange as that may appear on the surface, we would actually be willing to say that the answer is yes. We would not be shocked if the Kelly Reilly – Cole Hauser series is used to make a premiere-date announcement for the military drama, or to unveil some sort of first-look preview for what lies ahead. We could also imagine that Lioness could premiere in July and run at least through early September, which would be around when some other hits like Tulsa King could end up coming back on the air.

Could season 3 be the final one?

While we may not want that to be the case, we know that anything is possible with a show like this that has so many stars. Also, with each season having a contained arc (or at least that has been roughly the case so far), it may be a little bit easier to tie up some loose ends than you would see elsewhere.
