Ponies season 2 renewal: A May 2026 update

Is there any chance at all that we are going to learn about a Ponies season 2 renewal between now and the end of May?

Of course, we should note here that it makes all the sense in the world to want more of the spy series starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson. For starters, the first batch of episodes proved to be an incredibly good time and beyond just that, also felt as though it was reasonably popular. Now, it is true that Peacock, like so many other streaming services out there, opts not to share ratings information publicly. This does leave us in a place where we are meant to read the future of certain shows based on vibes rather than actual metrics, which can of course prove a little bit challenging here and there.

If there is anything that we can say right now as a reason to offer some confidence, it is simply that Ponies has not been canceled just yet, which at least means that Peacock is taking its future seriously. Meanwhile, we know that creatively, the producers are at least looking to do more, and that is without even noting anything when it comes to the cast.

Given that we are so close to the end of May already, it may be unrealistic to expect too much more in the way of updates now. June, however, is an entirely different story. We would personally be rather shocked if we get to the end of the summer and we still do not know anything when it comes to the fate of the series. After all, Peacock should not conceivably want some extremely long wait between seasons, provided of course that they do want to bring it back.
