Are we getting closer to seeing MobLand season 2 arrive over on Paramount+? For now, there is no questioning that. Production has wrapped on the latest chapter of the Tom Hardy series and by virtue of that, we are in an era where we are simply waiting for some further announcements.

If you have read some of our past articles on the subject of a release date, then you know that we’ve been anticipating a return either in the summer or early fall. While Guy Ritchie himself is not confirming a specific window for the show, he is at least indicating that we will, in fact, get the next chapter this year.

As a part of a new interview with Screen Rant, here is some of what he had to say on the subject:

… We’ve got MobLand before the end of the year, and we’ve got The Gentlemen before the end of the year. And we’ve got Wife & Dog. We’ve got three or four things coming out before the end of the year.

Even though Ritchie may have a great deal of power as an executive producer, he does not have any sort of direct say as to when the show will come out. This is something that is going to be reserved for the folks at Paramount+ to figure out. We tend to think that they want to space out some of their hits, which is why we have Dutton Ranch now and while we could have MobLand on the service at some point spaced between the likes of Criminal Minds: Evolution (airing later this month), Lioness season 3, and then Tulsa King season 4. All of these shows have already finished filming, and that leaves the door open for a wide array of different possibilities down the road.

What do you most want to see moving into MobLand season 2 when it arrives?

Be sure to share right now in the attached comments! Once you do just that, remember to come back for some other updates as we inch ever closer.
