Dutton Ranch season 2: Are there already hopes for more stories?

Even though we have only just made it to the start of Dutton Ranch on Paramount+, can you really blame us for looking ahead? We are in a spot already where we know that there is a lot of great stuff coming this season, and given that the original Yellowstone lasted five seasons, we see no reason to suddenly think we are close to the finish line here.
In the end, we recognize that a lot of this is going to be tied to the show’s performance, both on the streaming service and the Paramount Network. Even without John Dutton on board, we do tend to think this is going to do just fine.

For the record, one of the key players behind the scenes is more than happy to stick around — provided, of course, that we do get that green light for more. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, here is some of what director and executive producer Christina Alexandra Voros had to say:
I would stay on this ride forever. And I would go anywhere with Kelly and Cole. I think there’s an infinite number of possibilities for characters like Rip and Beth. They are like a modern day Bonnie and Clyde. Everyone wants to see who they’re going to be up against and how they’re going to get through it, and I would love to be along for that ride as long as it’s there.
Thanks to the characters moving to Texas at the start of Dutton Ranch, you can argue that we have a reset already that will shake up the show for many more years. There is so much flexibility now when it comes to what could be done, especially as these characters make a combination of new friends and enemies.
