Dutton Ranch season 1 episode 3 air date, what lies ahead

Following the huge two-part premiere on Paramount+ today, what more can we say in regards to Dutton Ranch season 1 episode 3?

Well, first and foremost, let’s just say that there is a lot more coming of the Yellowstone spin-off starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser. The first two episodes were a table-setter for this part of the world and moving forward, we will have a chance to see a new installment every week. We do imagine that this show could last for a rather long time, so hopefully we will get official word about season 2 before the first season even ends.

Now as for what sort of stories you could expect to see moving forward, we do tend to think that a lot could be simply connected to what we just saw at the end of episode 2. Rip has managed to find a new “Train Station” for himself — not only that, but he has stashed Wes’ body there! Obviously, he does not know everything as of yet when it comes to Beulah and her family’s role in all of this, but it feels like this is something that he could figure out.

What is perhaps most effective about the twist right now is rather simple: This is a way to sort of look at the classic expectations for Yellowstone and still figure out a way in which to break them. We know from the original show that Rip disposed a lot of bodies at the Train Station, but those are ones he took out himself. This is an alternate world where he is actually storing someone who was disposed by another person, which could end up serving as leverage down the road.

If nothing else, it certainly feels like the rivalry between the two ranches is going to be a focus for quite some time — and we are certainly ready for it.
