The Cage season 1 episode 4 spoilers: Last before finale

As we get prepared to see The Cage season 1 episode 4 on BBC One next week, there is definitely a good bit to say … but where should we start?

Well, first and foremost, let’s just go ahead and note that the finale is right around the corner! Even though the drama just kicked off weeks ago, it was almost meant to be just five episodes. That means that we are going to see things progress pretty quickly, and you have to brace for a number of various twists and turns along the way. Matty and Leanne potentially are going to drift further and further apart and you can argue that in doing that, both of them will be in an infinitely more difficult spot.

Because of how short the series is, it goes without saying that the end of this episode will likely carry over directly to the finale and honestly, isn’t that a part of the fun? We like the idea that we’re going to see something inch over to that in a more direct fashion, especially since there’s a good chance that we’re going to see an unexpected twist or two.

The larger question we have of course is quite simple at this point: Is every loose end going to be tied together neatly? We wish that there was a clear answer to this but at the same time, not knowing is a real part of the fun. We are just curious to see what the producers cook up over the course of the two hours ahead.
